We have recently completed a TC series machine with a fully-automated flush sequence on a remote-mount head.
The automated-flush sequence prevents the mixed materials from setting up in the mixer cone by automatically flushing the cone with solvent and air within a predetermined time limit. More inormation about the Auto-Flush option can be found here.
The remote mount head is ideal for environments where greater range of motion is required than can be achieved on our boom-mounted heads. For more information about the remote mount head please see the mixer page.

PPC chooses Allen Bradley / Rockwell automation for a demanding automated sequence.
The micro-logic's abilities coupled with the simplicity of the operator interface to control all automatied functions met the clients criteria and was implemented successfully.
The interface allows easy scroll functions through the menu enabling the operator easy access to shot timers, counters, buzzers, auto purge, auto dry and mixer start/stop modes. We were able to offer all that while keeping the dispense head small, light and compact.
Allen Bradley / Rockwell automation is the standard PLC for many large manufacturers that incorporate similar units in other operating equipment. Utilizing an interface that our customers are familiar with cuts down on training expenses and affords a more beneficial learning curve for the end user. |
